Whilst the star is now a healthy size 10, she previously revealed she was tormented by severe body dysmorphia which left her a tiny size 4 at the height of her illness.

Chanelle told The Sun: 'I got diet pills – I tried anything to get any skinnier. I did try to put my fingers down my throat.'

The Ex On The Beach beauty insisted she was 'desperate' to get skinnier, despite being an incredibly tiny size four and at times a size six.

Chanelle, who weighed seven-and-a-half stone at her lightest, was diagnosed with body dysmorphia at the tender age of 17.

The underwear model explained she beat her demons when her television career took off on Take Me Out at 20 years old.

In hindsight, she pinpointed she had 'twiggy' legs and arms compared to her now healthy size ten figure.

The reality star also discussed how she refused to have sex with her boyfriend with the lights on at the height of her disorder.

She added: 'I was like a size four or six, I had twiggy legs and twiggy arms and that’s what I thought looked good. So my mind-set was "the skinnier the better".
